CONTACT HIGH (2013 introduction registered in 2012) 51" M-ML SEV 6½" Cool medium pink 4.2:1 Spider that sports 2-3 lateral branches on sturdy scapes and 24-38 buds. Unlike its 3 other keeper seedlings, it is very pod fertile and has been a go-to parent in my garden several years, especially to add height. While I've produced numerous tall seedlings, very few stand up to the vicious winds here where I can't grow sunflowers that are over 3' tall, but CONTACT HIGH doesn't even lean. (Westbourne Earthquake x unknown) Description: Lavender pink with darker violet radiating patterned eyezone, vivid green throat and quilled sepals. Sometime it patterns, sometimes it doubles, and almost always has quilled sepals. It's unpredictability and beauty makes this one interesting! Lots of blooms on wide spaced branching and fertile both ways.

DIVAS IN DIAMONDS (Davisson 12) This 8 1/2 pink unusual form crispate has a huge cream pink "Munson type" watermark and a fine gold edge. She is dripping in diamond dusting all over the flower surface, even on the back of the petals! Very fragrant.... she smells wonderful!!! Scapes are 42" tall with 4 and 5 way branching, 28 to 32 buds (see scape photo). Easily fertile both ways. Vigorous plants increase quickly. Blooms midseason. Hardy, dormant plant habit. NO BOYS ALLOWED X UNKNOWN. Tetraploid.

There is a real Dolly Llama who paid a visit to church one year, much to the delight of the children. One side lost a VBS contest and as a result the team leader of the losing side had to give Dolly a kiss. She didn't mind a bit!

Lavender bitone with purple eye, with large cream ruffled edge and cream midribs, dark veins on petals, green throat, sunfast to 100 degrees F. 3 branches, 18 buds. Unusual form cascade. Flouncy ruffles! The hotter it is the better it looks! I have several siblings to this and all seem to be very long bloomers and have quite fancy edges. This is a diploid and has some of the best cream edging that I have seen in a dip. Fertile, period. Kids can be patterned, double, edged, or streaked.

FLAMINGO FLAMBEAU (Michaels, 2008) 29" M SEV EMO 6½" (9" wingspan) Hot pink and fuchsia blend with deep rose red chevron eye, cream midribs and green star throat. Terminal Y and only 1 lateral and 18 buds here, but what a color! And what a parent for cold hardy screaming pink, rose and purplish kids with big green throats! Easily pod and pollen fertile, I'll definately be nominating it for an HM in the not too distant future. Pollen parent of CERISE'S PIECES, HALF MAGIC, OBLIO and PASSIONISTA, it has wonderful dark green leaves. Spider ratio averages 4:1 if given a lot of water, so is usually skinnier.

38" M Unusual Form Crispate DOR 6" TET

The blooms are cantaloupe with a large red eye and matching red picotee. The patterned yellow to green throat is especially intriguing with veined patterns reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. FOOLISH FLIRT has show-stopping scapes with five to six-way branching and 29 well-spaced buds. It has consistently quilled sepals which echo the throat and eye color. A full sibling to STICKY WICKET, we are eagerly waiting to see the next generation of seedlings from this garden favorite. Very hardy and fertile both ways.
