BOSS OF THE APPLESAUCE (Davisson-J 16)
At some point, I decided EVERYTHING in my garden should be big and tall so I crossed Curt's lovely VIRGINIA B HANSON with my AMAZING ADAM and love what happened (although I'm not sure Curt would love what I did to one of his best introductions!) BOSS OF THE APPLESAUCE has a huge, sturdy 48" scape with 4 and 5 way branching carrying as many as 32 buds and it instantly reblooms for a very long bloom season starting midseason and going very late. The 7 inch free form (but still roundish) flowers are a light cream peach with a ruffled edge, a lemon throat, and fine lemon edges. Fragrant! Wonderful dormant plant habit with pretty foliage. Makes a BIG plant with a showy display late in the season when most things are bloomed out. Easily fertile both ways. Tetraploid.
