GREG TROTTER (Rice, J + A, 2013) is burgundy purple with a white gold toothy edge and a green throat. It blooms in the mid-season and frequently reblooms. The flowers are 4.75 “ on 30” scapes with 2 branches. It is a semi-evergreen tetraploid. Fertile both ways.
Since it first bloomed, GREG TROTTER has been a handsome and well-mannered purple with a precisely defined white gold toothy edge. The color is black purple in cool weather and more burgundy purple when it is hot. This flower will do its very best with afternoon shade. In our garden, GREG TROTTER blooms nearly every day for over a month.
