This plant had some stunning sibs but they couldn't match up to the plant habit of this one. I was captured from the first blooms by the coppery halo, as I've never seen that in any others we have here. It's hard to show in a picture. I did not use this to hybridize since I wanted it to increase. Why I didn't use the pollen is due to a brain cramp, I think! I'll be using it more this year.
2024 note: pollen is good! Dry year here and it did not set pods with Emma's Lil Froggies, the only cross I was interested in making with it. Emma did set pods with NW Love's Illusions as her baby daddy!
